Backend Developer (Next.js, Elasticsearch, DevOps)
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our core systems. You will work closely with senior engineers and other team members to implement features, maintain existing services, and help improve the scalability and reliability of our platform.
This role involves working with Next.js (especially API routes and server components), integrating with Elasticsearch, and using DevOps tools like Docker and GitHub Actions as part of the development lifecycle. It's a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is excited to learn, solve problems, and grow into a more senior technical role.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to building and maintaining scalable backend APIs using Next.js.
- Work with Elasticsearch to implement and optimize data retrieval.
- Participate in solving issues, testing, and following best practices for backend development.
- Support CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions and help maintain Docker-based environments.
- Collaborate with the team to implement features from technical specifications.
- Learn from and support developers as you build experience and confidence in your skills.

Requirements
Must-Haves
- 1–2 years of experience in backend or full-stack development (internship or personal projects count).
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and some hands-on experience with Next.js or similar frameworks.
- Basic understanding of Elasticsearch or willingness to learn.
- Exposure to Docker and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and work in a collaborative environment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working with REST APIs and Authentication.
- Familiarity with basic DevOps practices (logging, monitoring, environment setup).
- Exposure to message queues or event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
