MdM is a medical humanitarian NGO. Since 1980, MdM has worked independently around the world to guarantee universal and sustainable access to healthcare.
In Palestine, the objectives of the programs are to limit the medical impact of the restrictions in accessing medical care on the Palestinian population, to improve mental health and psychosocial care and to bear witness to the violations of the right to health.

To support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care in Primary Health Care Centres (PHCC) and Mobile Medical Teams (MMT) by performing triage, managing patient flow, assisting in non-invasive nursing procedures, and contributing to health promotion and disease prevention activities.

- Ensure effective triage and patient flow management in PHCC/MMT settings.
- Support the implementation of non-invasive nursing procedures and screenings.
- Contribute to health education, promotion, and awareness activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Main responsibilities and activities of the [Nurse Assistant] can change according to the organization of the work and to the composition of the team.
Triage and Patient Flow Management
- Conduct initial triage of patients based on urgency and clinical presentation.
- Guide patients through the PHC user pathway and ensure orderly flow.
- Control crowding in waiting areas and prioritize vulnerable individuals.
- Assist patients with internal referrals between different service stations.
- Assist patients with mobility, hygiene, and comfort needs.
- Perform reception duties and provide guidance to patients.
Support for Non-Invasive Nursing Procedures
- Assist in routine screenings (e.g., blood pressure, blood glucose, MUAC).
- Support vaccination campaigns and basic nursing services under supervision.
- Follow up on medical waste collection from the clinic to ensure proper disposal.
Health Promotion and Community Engagement
- Deliver health education sessions on hygiene, nutrition, NCDs, and more.
- Participate in awareness campaigns and distribute IEC materials.
Documentation and Confidentiality
Ensure patient confidentiality and treat all individuals with dignity and respect
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

- Mandatory: [At least 2 -year Nursing Diploma + valid practice license]
Experience:
- Desirable: a minimum of [1] year of experience working in healthcare settings.
- Desirable: I/NGO experience / etc.
- Desirable: Experience in PHC, OPD, Triaging roles.
Languages:
- Strong communication skills in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).
