Position Title: Project Coordinator – West Bank (Ramallah)

Job Purpose:
MA’AN Development Center is seeking a qualified and committed Project Coordinator to support the implementation of the project “NOUR – Nurturing Opportunities for Uplifting Resilience: Empowering Women and Persons with Disabilities through the MA’AN Innovation Hub.”
The Project Coordinator will support the day-to-day coordination of project activities across Ramallah, East Jerusalem, and Hebron, ensuring timely and high-quality implementation of outreach, selection, trainings, hackathons, bootcamps, incubation/acceleration services, and follow-up support to women and persons with disabilities (PwDs).
The role requires close coordination with local partners, beneficiaries, trainers/mentors, service providers, and relevant ecosystem actors to ensure activities are delivered in line with MA’AN standards, donor requirements, safeguarding, and inclusion commitments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and follow up on project implementation across the target governorates (Ramallah, East Jerusalem, Hebron), in close coordination with the Project Manager.
- Support planning, logistics, and delivery of outreach and awareness activities, including community engagement sessions, orientation sessions, and application support.
- Assist in organizing and implementing project events including hackathons, bootcamps, pitching events, linkages events, and closing ceremony.
- Coordinate closely with local partners (e.g., municipalities, CBOs, women groups, PwD associations, universities, chambers of commerce) to ensure outreach, accessibility, and participation.
- Support the selection process logistics, including scheduling interviews, field verification visits, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Conduct regular field visits to beneficiaries (start-ups and MSEs) to monitor progress, verify milestones, and support follow-up actions.
- Support beneficiaries’ participation in incubation/acceleration activities, including mentorship sessions, training attendance, and access to Hub services.
- Liaise with trainers, mentors, and outsourced experts to ensure timely delivery of sessions and quality assurance of trainings and coaching.
- Support grant follow-up processes (administrative follow-up, milestone tracking, documentation readiness), in coordination with the Project Manager and finance/procurement teams.
- Ensure inclusion measures are applied in implementation (accessibility, safe participation, and tailored support for PwDs and vulnerable cases), including coordination with sign language interpreters and psychosocial support when needed.
- Coordinate with the MEAL team to support data collection, means of verification, beneficiary tracking, and documentation of lessons learned and success stories.
- Prepare and submit timely weekly and monthly field reports, highlighting progress, challenges, risks, and recommended actions.
- Represent MA’AN at the local level and ensure clear communication with beneficiaries and stakeholders.
- Uphold MA’AN’s Code of Conduct, safeguarding policies, accountability standards, and zero tolerance to Sexual Exploitation and Abuse.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in coordinating development, livelihoods, entrepreneurship, or private-sector support projects.
- Proven experience coordinating field activities and working with multiple stakeholders and partners.
- Experience working with women and/or persons with disabilities is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with donor-funded project implementation, reporting, and compliance.
- Ability to travel frequently across the West Bank (Ramallah, East Jerusalem, Hebron).
- Professional Skills:
- Strong ownership and follow-through, with the ability to independently track tasks and close action points
- High level of professionalism and emotional maturity when working under pressure or in sensitive field contexts
- Proactive problem-solving and sound judgment, with the ability to flag risks and implementation challenges early
- Commitment to accountability, ethical conduct, safeguarding, and inclusion principles
- Clear, adaptive communication with beneficiaries, partners, and management
- Organized, detail-oriented approach to documentation, reporting, and information management
