Established in 1995, BCI was founded to meet the needs of emerging regional ICT markets with a sound knowledge base and a strong network of global partners, BCI has since evolved into a regionally recognized advisor and provider of top of the line services and solutions spanning a range of sectors. BCI is intending to recruit a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Procurement Manager.
Main responsibilities:
-Developing and implementing procurement and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
-Prequalifying vendors and researching for new suppliers.
-Preparing and processing requisitions and purchase orders for services, supplies and equipment.
-Following market trends and analyzing market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.
-Reviewing, evaluating, and approving specifications.
-Projecting stock levels and proposing solutions for disposal of surplus materials.
-Reviewing tenders and preparing contracts and orders.
Qualification required:
-Business or IT degree or equivalent professional qualification.
-Approximately 3-5 years of procurement experience in the ICT industry.
-Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering procurement strategies and tactics to meet company objectives.
-A strong understanding of customer, vendor and market dynamics and requirements.
-Good command of English language.
-High negotiation skills.
