The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees invites applications from qualified candidates for the post of:


Laboratory Technician

1-Vacancy No. : 091/2013/X
2-Duty Station : Qalqilia Hospital
3-Department : Health department
4-Basic Salary : 456.5JD that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency
Other fringe benefits include provident fund & health insurance.
5-Allowances : Family Allowances payable up to 7 children and spouse.
33% of the basic salary as Supplementary Allowance.
6-Qualifications:
-Full secondary education.
-Completion of a course in laboratory techniques of two years duration from an institution recognized by UNRWA.
-At least two years experience as laboratory technician.
-Experience in the use of computers and an understanding of their use in health applications.
-Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic.
Competencies:
-Ability to work under pressure and cope with heavy workload.
-Adequate computer skills.
-Excellent organizational and communication skills.
-Self-motivated.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
-Preference will be given to BA holders in medical technology.
-Preference will be given to Qalqilia residence and its surrounding areas.
-Duty hours at the hospital are scheduled on 24 hours shifts basis.
