وظيفة موظف برنامج - مؤسسة أميديست - رام الله Program Officer - AMIDEAST - Ramallah

AMIDEAST, an international non-profit organization in the West Bank and Gaza, is seeking qualified candidates for Program Officer and Program Assistant level positions for a new Scholarship Program.

The positions are full-time, 12-month positions, at its branch office in El-Bireh, to begin as soon as possible.

This positions provides support in the implementation of the Scholarship Program and shares overall technical responsibility for the successful implementation of the programmatic goals with program staff including ensuring that goals, objectives, and milestones are achieved. The Program Officer and Program Assistant will assist in the recruitment, screening, selection, training, testing, and placement of students in universities in the US and alumni activities after students complete their academic program.

Program Officer

Description of Responsibilities
-Develop and implement an outreach and recruitment plan
-Assist in the screening and selection of candidates
-Design pre academic training plans for selected finalists
-Arrange for student testing
-Assist in academic placement and monitoring of scholarship recipients
-Prepare and conduct pre-departure orientations for scholarship recipients
-Conduct participant processing and facilitate travel arrangements and visas
-Design, conduct and monitor follow-on activities for alumni
-Plan and implement a communications/promotional campaign
-Prepares purchase orders and payment requests for program expenses
-Ensures program compliance to policies, procedures, and regulations regarding, approvals, visas, permits, contractual agreements, and submission of reports;
-Assists in all financial monitoring and reporting of program component costs;
-Develops systems and maintains records that provide for the proper evaluation, control and documentation of assigned activities; prepares a variety of written correspondence, reports, procedures, directives and other materials;
-Project a professional appearance and cooperative attitude, maintains high ethical standards of confidentiality in representing the organization
Qualified applicants will meet the following criteria:
-An undergraduate degree in education or related social sciences;
-5 years of relevant experience or Masters degree + 3 years of experience;
-Excellent written and spoken English and spoken Arabic
-Organized, conscientious, and detail-oriented;
-Excellent communication and organizational skills;
-Ability to multi-task in a busy workplace environment;
-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required;
-Familiarity with online and social media programs and tools strongly preferred;
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and be self-directed and motivated.
