Fundraising Officer - برامج التربية للطفولة المبكرة الفلسطينية - The Early childhood Education Programs association ECEP is an educational institution ,
non-profit seeks to create an educational and instructional environment for children under school age, through implementation of the programs promoting upbringing a child is able to adapt to changing social conditions.
The ECEP aspires to be a leading institution in creating the child for pre-school within the upbringing of a good social.
ECEP is currently seeking a Fundraising Officer to support the organization develop and implement an effective fundraising strategy.
Location: ECEP main office in Gaza
Contract period: One year (Full time)
Responsibilities:
-Participate in developing a fundraising strategy for ECEP that embraces ECEP’s approach and philosophy
-Collect required information for proposals and reports
-Support to the ECEP staff to develop project proposals and submit grant applications
-Preparing progress reports
-Updating the ECEP external relations database and follow up on partners and budgets
-Keeping up to date with main project proposals and reporting tools, such as log frames
-Involvement in ECEP’s strategic planning and developing annual and periodical reports
-Attending relevant external and internal meetings/workshops
-Enhance the skills of ECEP staff by providing the training and coaching needed for the best use and implementation of the fundraising strategy
-Enhance the use of participatory approach within ECEP
-Collect and reflect success stories from the field
Essential Qualifications
-At least a BA in a relevant field At least three years practical experience in the area of fundraising
Essential skills and competencies
-Good training and coaching skills
-Good organizational and time management skills
-Have sound knowledge of budgeting and financial procedures
-Fluent in English and Arabic with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both
languages
-Knowledge of participatory development methods
-Knowledge of the different approaches and accountabilities required for different types of funder
-Knowledge in M&E practices
-Excellent computer skills

-Innovative, flexible and proactive personality
-Hard worker and results-oriented
-Ability to handle work stress, time pressure and difficult situations efficiently
-Willing to travel in the field, spending extra working hours and possibly working during weekends
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
