Projects Coordinator - AmCham-Palestine - Ramallah

The Palestinian American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham-Palestine) a member of the United States Chamber of Commerce,

a non-profit membership-based organization by a group of private sector leaders in Palestine, with the aim of serving the Palestinian and American business communities and contributing to the development of the commercial activities between the Palestinian Territories and the United States of America, is recruiting highly qualified professionals to work on a full time basis in the AmCham offices in Ramallah for the Projects Coordinator position for 6 months with possible extension based on availability of funds.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1-Manage the activities performed within the office, including office management, implementation of procedures, records management, reporting, filing, and accounting issues.
2-Coordinate the chamber’s projects from projects design till project closure.
3-Coordinate meetings and record minutes of monthly Board of Director meetings.
4-Liaise in the chamber’s fundraising activities.
5-Coordinate and liaise in the development of the monthly newsletter.
6-Communicate regularly with the chamber’s members.
7-Manage the chamber’s website and other social networks.
8-Responsible dispensing information and answering incoming telephone calls with the highest level of exceptional customer service.
9-Assist the general manager in working closely with the chamber’s committee.
10-Serve as a point of contact for information concerning the activities of the office that is capable of responding to all inquiries within established guidelines.
11-May use specialized communication skills in performing these duties.
12-Must communicate efficiently and effectively at all times. A high degree of organization and ability to be flexible is necessary.
13-The projects coodinator will perform other duties as assigned by the general manager.
Education and Experience
-Bachelor degree in Business Administration or any related field.
-At least three years of experience in the private sector or private sector organizations.
-Proficiency in both written and spoken Arabic and English languages.
-Excellent computer skills.
-Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in Arabic and English.
-Professional knowledge in office administration and management.
-Experience in dealing with the public and private sector.
-Good knowledge of and experience in internal and international business communities.
