[FONT="]MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES [FONT="]In accordance with established Agency policy and procedures, the ideal candidate:[/FONT][/FONT]
[FONT="]- Organizes and develops the subject of specialization.[/FONT]
[FONT="]- Co-ordinates the teaching of the subject with subjects taught by other instructors.[/FONT]
[FONT="]- Ensures the proper implementation of the subject syllabus and the evaluation of its effectiveness under the direction of the supervisors concerned.[/FONT]
[FONT="]- Maintains records and control of different supplies of the section and for the care and proper utilization of the facilities and equipment.[/FONT]
[FONT="]- Participates in co curricular activities in the Centre and in different summer courses when required.[/FONT]
[FONT="]- Participates with other staff members in maintaining order and discipline in the Centre.[/FONT]
[FONT="]- Performs such other duties as may be assigned.[/FONT]
[FONT="]PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES Grade 09 (Instructor C)[/FONT]
[FONT="]- Successful completion of full Secondary Education.[/FONT]
[FONT="]- A post secondary Technical Course of two years duration in an area related to the trade to be taught.[/FONT]
[FONT="]- No Experience is required.[/FONT]
[FONT="]Grade 10 (Instructor B)[/FONT]
[FONT="]- Successful completion of full Secondary Education., plus two years post secondary Technical Course in an area directly related to the trade to be taught.[/FONT]
[FONT="]- At least three years experience of satisfactory service as an instructor ‘C’ in the trade to the taught, plus one year work experience in the trade, or in a related technical function.[/FONT]
[FONT="]2[/FONT]
[FONT="]Grade 11 (Instructor A)[/FONT]
[FONT="]- Successful completion of full Secondary Education., plus two years post secondary Technical Course in an area directly related to the trade to be taught.[/FONT]
[FONT="]- Two years in-service training course[/FONT]
[FONT="]- At least six years experience including two years’ work experience in the trade, or in a related technical function and two years teaching experience.[/FONT]
[FONT="]- Good knowledge of spoken and written English and Arabic[/FONT]
[FONT="]CONDITIONS OF SERVICE[/FONT]
[FONT="]- The monthly basic salary depends on the grading level and varies on the entry on duty from $751.70 to $930.30; plus a currency adjustment factor (present rate 15.54%) and monthly dependency allowance up to $123.25.[/FONT]
[FONT="]- Contract Duration: Three years including 1 year probation period.[/FONT]
[FONT="]- Pension: Provident Fund contribution[/FONT]
[FONT="]- Other conditions of service and benefits may apply.[/FONT]
[FONT="]EQUIVALENCY [FONT="]Candidates with an equivalent combination of relevant academic qualifications, professional training and progressive work experience may also be considered[/FONT][/FONT]
