Project Coordinator – Palestinian STEAM Network
The A.M. Qattan Foundation is seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual for the position of Project Coordinator – Palestinian STEAM Network. The description of this position is as follows:
Title: Project Coordinator – Palestinian STEAM Network
Location: Ramallah-based with field coordination as needed
Contract Duration: 18 months
Job Objectives
The Project Coordinator will support the operationalisation of the Palestinian STEAM Network by facilitating coordination across its 10 CSO members, overseeing activity tracking and reporting, ensuring effective communication, and serving as the focal point with Enabel. The coordinator will not lead implementation of technical or expert-led components but will instead ensure alignment, communication, reporting and timely execution of deliverables in coordination with AMQF and the Network Committee based on the Network’s action plan.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
A. Coordination and Facilitation
- Coordinate and follow up on the implementation of the project’s activities in line with the approved work plan.
- Facilitate regular communication and meetings, among the Network’s members and serve as the main point of contact for Enabel.
- Schedule, document, and follow up on monthly Network meetings and joint activities (e.g. workshops, trainings, and events).
- Coordinate logistics and communication for joint activities such as the YallaSTEAM Festival, public webinars, training, governance, and strategic planning sessions, in collaboration with relevant consultants and hosting CSOs.
- Support Network members in updating resource and stakeholder mapping by gathering and organising input.
- Prepare and consolidate activity and coordination updates for periodic reports.
B. Communication and Information Management
- Liaise with the contracted media/branding firm to ensure alignment with project objectives and member input.
- Ensure timely collection and submission of media content (photos, videos, quotes) from member CSOs and share with the communications team.
- Support the publication and dissemination of announcements and press releases drafted by the media consultant.
- Maintain an organised shared drive or platform for storing all Network-related materials (e.g. minutes, policies, templates, reports).
C. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEAL)
- Lead and support the development of the MEAL plan alongside AMQF, Network members and Enabel’s MEAL advisor.
- Document lessons learned and key updates during monthly meetings and consolidate inputs into progress reports.
- Ensure tools such as attendance sheets, evaluation forms, and meeting logs are used consistently and archived.
D. Administrative and Logistical Support
- Coordinate with AMQF’s procurement and finance teams to support the administrative process of hiring consultants and processing payments.
- Support the announcement and receipt of applications related to calls for trainers, volunteers, or tenders, in collaboration with AMQF and the CSOs members.
- Ensure timely follow-up on required approvals for services and payments.
E. Reporting
- Prepare and consolidate narrative reports (quarterly, semi-annual, and final) based on Network inputs and in coordination with AMQF and member CSOs.
- Coordinate with AMQF’s finance department on financial reporting and documentation, ensuring supporting documents are submitted as required.
F. Other
- Carry out any coordination-related tasks as may be agreed upon by the Network members or required by AMQF for smooth implementation.
Qualifications:
- At least bachelor’s degree in business administration or another relevant field.
- At least four years of work experience in project coordination or civil society programme work.
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills; ability to navigate diverse stakeholder environments.
- Familiarity with STEAM education or CSO work is an asset.
- Experience in Education is a plus.
Skills:
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Excellent knowledge in dealing with technology, office programs and project management tools and programs.
Competencies:

- Ability to plan and align.
Other Job Factors:
- Field visits are required.
- Flexible working hours are required to accommodate evening and weekend activities.
