BACKGROUND
Life and Hope Association (LHA) is a non-governmental, non-profit and independent society founded in Gaza in 1996. LHA aims at contributing to the development and empowerment its beneficiaries toward a sustainable society based on real and active participatory for the beneficiaries specially the youth, and children. and vulnerable groups.
JOB SUMMARY
In partnership with Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Life and Hope Association (LHA) is implementing the Gaza Multi-Sectoral Emergency Response Program to provide rapid and responsive humanitarian assistance to conflict-affected communities across the Gaza Strip. The program focuses on the distribution of life-saving aid, including multi-purpose cash assistance, food assistance, shelter and settlements (S&S) support, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services, and protection interventions.
LHA is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated (Field Monitor) to support the implementation and monitoring of these distribution activities, ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective delivery of humanitarian assistance to vulnerable households.
LHA is recruiting candidates for the following positions:
Job Vacancy: Field Monitor
Position Title: Field Monitor (Full-Time)
Number of Positions: 6
Location: Life and Hope Association Office, North Gaza
Contract Duration: Two months (renewable depending on funding availability)
Reporting To: Program Coordinator (PC)
Starting Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize distribution operations at field distribution points.
- Ensuring smooth coordination between reviewers, the distribution team, and beneficiaries to maintain an orderly and respectful environment.
- Professionally handle any issues or inquiries from beneficiaries during distribution, providing guidance, and referring any complaints or feedback to the appropriate channels.
- Record and update beneficiary data accurately in the database or tracking system to ensure accountability and proper documentation of assistance delivered.
- Coordinate closely with the distribution team and supervisors to address any distribution process challenges and ensure timely, fair, and dignified distribution of aid.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the successful implementation of humanitarian assistance distributions.
Qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant field such as social sciences, management, development studies, or any other related discipline.
- At least one year of experience in emergency relief, humanitarian assistance, or related project implementation.
- Hands-on experience in organizing and facilitating humanitarian aid distribution or emergency response activities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good understanding of local contexts, community dynamics, and operational environments within the Gaza Strip.
- The candidate must reside in North Gaza or Gaza Governorate.
